Considering the main ideas of university’s second tine undergraduate education’s communication meeting, we School of Environment and Natural Resources held “Undergraduate education’s communication meeting of school” on Dec 28^th,2005, to distribute some concrete assignments about the evaluation process of the undergraduate educational achievement in our school. Li Wenhua, Senior Deputy Dean Ma Zhong, Deputy Ren Qingshan, Deputy Chairman of the School Council Wang Ping and all teachers attended the meeting. Deputy Section Chief of Educational Administration Wang Xiaodong was also present. The main agenda of the meeting was passing on the main ideas of university’s second time undergraduate education’s communication meeting, setting up a leading section of evaluation process about our school’s undergraduate education and distributing concrete assignments to prepare for the process.

Meeting was hosted by Senior Deputy Dean Ma Zhong. Dean Li Wenhua talked about the cooperation among our school and Research Center for Eco-Environment Sciences, Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research (The Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences. He also emphasized the importance of the evaluation process about undergraduate education holding by Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China this year, and said it’s the turning point in the destiny of our school’s development. Deputy Dean Ren Qingshan outlined university’s second time undergraduate education’s communication meeting and allotted assignments, mainly including, setting up a leading section of evaluation process about school’s undergraduate education and the following responsibilities of improving relevant departments and majors. Deputy Chairman of the School Council Wang Ping pointed out that we should make full use of this chance to reflect problems and solve them. The teachers Sun Chengyong, Zhang Jinglai and Han Weiming also addressed in their own fields.

Deputy Section Chief of Educational Administration Wang Xiaodong made a speech, firstly, he affirmed the great achievement of our school’s past work, and then he suggested basic managements should be strengthened according to the education evaluation process, he also talked something about teaching material and laboratory.
